Firmware modem alice gate voip 2 plus wifi card windows 7#This might be the problem, that windows 7 does get the right information. I am also using wpa2 but when holding my mouse over the wireless, and the small popup menu appears (the one that shows the name, security type, etc.) it show the security type as wep. It finds the wireless find, but it won't accept the security key. Does anyone know if Microsoft reads this forum and does anything with these issues. When I put the router to WEP security, I don't even get t the point where I have to put in my security key. Firmware modem alice gate voip 2 plus wifi card Pc#When I set my router to unsecure the pc connects to the router without a problem, but off course i don't want my wireless to be unsecured. When I press this button, the pc is connecting, but returns an error, connection failed or sometihing like that. In an other topic in the forum someone had the same problem, but this was resolved by pressing the button on his router looking like a refrech button. When I type it in, I get the message Passphrase incorrect, but i'm 100% certain that it is correct. When the pc is trying to connect to the router, my security key is asked for. The first problem is that the pc can't always find my router. I use WPA2 security for my wireless connection. I have a linksys router (WRT160N) and a linksys adapter in de pc (WUSB600N). Everything works good, except for my wireless internet connection. Thanks Display posts from previous: of 1 -> All times are GMT Navigation.I have recently installed Windows 7 RC 64 bit. I also don't know if it's still possible trough windows.ĭo you think a new device with running DD-WRT can solve me this problems forever? What's the better device that unlock all DD-WRT power and features? And except vpn and isp concern, in what I can have benefits respect my actual device? I don't know if it's possible to achieve what I'm trying to do with my device or not. I can handle ISP connection well, but look like it's ability to handle vpn is very limited (I still didn't found a way to add a vpn connection). Trying to handle things directly inside the devide didn't helped me too much, even after has been unlocked with the advanced control panel. Not sure if doing that could compromise security or not. The only way I found to access the connections and gain a minimum control on them is to disable the default gateway. I spent lot of time trying to find an easier solution from windows or via the.Net framework, but always ended up with nothing. It's just a waste of time? To be honest I never had problems with these devices until I decided that I need to have in my computer running my ISP internet connection and a Vpn connection at the same time and other similar features like sharing the same vpn connection between multiple devices in my home. Any chance with that or trying to load DD-WRT firm. I also have a similar device, more older, but without VOIP (). Look like I was wrong and this is just a useless piece of plastic.I considered also openwrt, but seem to be there's no web or gui interface and this make usage more harder.
